User Experience Improvement:
Jumia Food App

Jumia is building the Amazon of Africa. Its same-day delivery product, Jumia Food scores high on 2 out of the 4-part* User Experience test. While it is remarkably Usable and Useful, it requires a UX upgrade to boost its Enjoyability score.

This case study provides specific UX recommendations inspired by my own user experience as a Jumia Premium user.

 

*I have not tested nor examined its Equitability/Accessibility as a consumer app.

Product Strategy:
WeLoveNoCode Academy

WeLoveNoCode is one of the startups at the forefront of the No-Code Movement. It leverages a team of freelance developers who save their clients time and money by building tech products without coding. 

​

This Case Study examines its learning product; WeLoveNoCode Academy. It was inspired by my own background as an edTech ex-founder and my personal experience as a no-code builder. 

​

The agenda was clear: How can WLNC Academy expand its reach and become the go-to for anyone interested in participating in the no-code industry?

Visual Interface Redesign:
MedSchoolCoach 

MedSchoolCoach is a U.S college-prep company that is specifically focused on helping students get into med school.

​

It has a lot of advantages including an all-star founding team full of MDs. But, visitors view less than 2 pages and last less than 2 mins on the platform; it has a whooping 78% bounce-rate. 

​

This case study is based on a simple hypothesis: the MedSchoolCoach interface is overwhelming and there are too many Calls-to-Action on most pages. 

​

For this project, I focused on simplifying the information on the landing page so that new visitors know where to click and what to expect, so much so that they convert more and faster.
